BROADCAST ON NATIONAL JAPANESE TELEVISION

The Japanese FUJI Television Network, Inc. (FUJI TV)  recently aired clips from the "Ms. Sr. Sweetheart Pageant of America"  The pageant was recorded by Wings Television, Inc. (WINGS TV) at the BMC Durfee High School Auditorium in Fall River, Massachusetts on November 7, 2004.  Clips from the video aired on a Japanese national broadcast network in Japan during the week of March 6th 2005.

Frank Wing said the 2004 National Ms. Senior Sweetheart, Shirley Vaughan of Roanoke, VA  knew someone at Todd Kawana Productions in Acworth, GA that had an interest in sending  a copy of the show to Japan.   He then mailed a copy of the of the "2004 Ms. Sr. Sweetheart Pageant of America" to them and they in turn forwarded it to FUJI TV in Japan in February 2005.   Wing said that he was told that clips from the show were broadcast in Japan soon after that during the week of March 6th, 2005.  Wing said that he had been unsuccessful in getting a copy of the show since that time.  However, last week, Wing attended the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention in Las VegasWing said that he knew FUJI TV had a booth at the convention so, he went to them the first thing on Monday morning when the convention opened and spoke to them about getting a copy of the show.  When he returned home that weekend the video had just arrived.

This last picture should probably be first because it is of the FUJI TV Show Host as he opens the show.  He is just very, very  entertaining even if you don't understand a word he is saying.
